The Hydraulic door closer JNF ML.21.775 CAM is a high-quality surface-mounted overhead closer from the Portuguese manufacturer JNF, designed for precise and quiet closing of doors in commercial and residential buildings. This model stands out for its CAM action mechanism.

Unlike traditional rack-and-pinion mechanisms, the CAM mechanism uses an eccentric disc (cam) and a roller (follower) to reduce resistance when opening. The door needs considerably less force to open while closing stays strong and controlled – an advantage wherever accessibility matters, such as hospitals, schools and public buildings. The body is made of aluminium with a silver coated finish of matt appearance, and the robust construction and precise mechanics give a long and safe service life.

The closing force is adjustable from EN 2 to EN 4, so the closer covers doors up to 100 kg and up to 1100 mm wide, with an opening angle of up to 180°. Closing speed and latching action are set with valves, the force with the spring. The door closes quietly and under control, slamming is prevented and heat loss is reduced.

It is surface-mounted on left- or right-hand doors (DIN left and DIN right) with the screws supplied. Note: the closer is delivered without the arm – the arm has to be bought separately, depending on the desired opening and mounting method. The closer takes all JNF arms: the standard arm 21.105.AN, the slide arm 21.101.AN (anti-vandal) and the arm with hold-open 21.110.AN.
